Interview mit someone von Absolute Steel

Ein Interview von Odin vom 26.09.2002 (14800 mal gelesen)
Impossible to talk serious with these guys... :-)

Nat:   Hey Metalheads! Your album sound like back from the eighties - had the songs been frozen in anywhere and you have found them now?

Absolute Steel:   Thanks for the compliment!! It all started one weekend we wanted to make all the songs we wish where written in the eighties. We had a consert with great response and we just couldn't stop.

Nat:   Is that liquid metal in your veins?

Absolute Steel:   Yes, it helps us to take everything too the next level of heavy metal. It's called Perfect Party metal!

Nat:   Party Metal ... are you going to bring back the well known "sex, drugs and rock'n'roll" kind of Rock/Metal?

Absolute Steel:   Maybe? Call it whatever you want, but it's true that we fuck a lot and do steroids, "Nesp", "epo" and injects fresh blood too play faster.

Nat:   Is this at the same time a statement towards the recent output in the genre? (all kinds of "Metal", far away from the roots)

Absolute Steel:   We're weary [umm, yeah.. - annotation by editor] happy about the death of grunge, and we really look forward to the death of "new metal". Real metal will never die!

Nat:   Who had that idea to include a role playing game in the booklet?

Absolute Steel:   Andy Boss................

Nat:   How old are you guys and who were or are your idols?

Absolute Steel:   K2 28, Dave 28 and Andy 27. There were a lot of idols, but the most important is that the guitarists play fast, the vocalist reaches high notes, the bass player looks cool and the drummer drills his sticks as often as possible.

Nat:   A serious matter. What is your opinion on the topic of death sentence in the US (and anywhere else)?

Absolute Steel:   As Erick Adams says, "If you're not into metal. You are not my friend". To sentence everyone to death may be to get too far, but everyone should respect our love for steel.

Nat:   Back to the band. Are there any plans about a tour or a next album or anything like that already?

Absolute Steel:   We have already written 11 new songs. "Beer Run", "Cunt Hunt", "Rough Love", "Juicy Lucy" are some titles you should remember.. We haven't set the schedule for our world tour yet, but when we do, you should be prepared!
